We’re called ‘Why Run’ because every runner has a story. And some stories will stop you in your tracks.
Meet John Clark. He just conquered the gruelling 95-mile West Highland Way ultra-marathon. He wasn't running for a time or a medal. He was running in memory of his beloved son, Aaron, who he tragically lost to cot death.
He channelled his heartbreak into an immense feat of endurance, saying, "Every step was for Aaron."
This is the power of purpose. This is the ultimate 'why'. An absolutely phenomenal achievement fuelled by a father's love and the spirit of his wee boy.
